I LOVE AUTUMN !

As much as I love the swimming pools, cold popsicles, and the lazy days summer, every year when autumn creeps in, I can feel a rejuvenation of my spirit and an excitement welling from inside of me. I love autumn!

I have been lucky enough to spend the majority of my life in a county which could literally define the change of seasons, but Autumn — my friends — is her crowning glory. Because of that, it has become my favorite season of them all.

As a little girl, I learned what the word ‘autumn’ meant. It was the picture of a leaf falling from a tree in the books my mother used read to me as a toddler. Then, in my elementary classrooms, I learned that autumn had to do with the Earth’s rotation around the sun. However, the technical definition of what fall is, and why it happens, does not compare to the spirit of the autumn season. The feeling that I get when it arrives, the wonderment of it all, and the energy within me that fall brings to life. These feelings are entrenched by the warm memories from younger years. This is what I celebrate today.

When I think about autumn, it is so hard to narrow down to a small list of fall favourites. There is simply so much about this season to celebrate. From the weather that brings ankle boots and sweaters out of hiding, to the colourful painted landscapes, to the loud cheers and screams of a crowd of people at the local football game, to the sweet smells of baked goods.

De outfit die Orminde vandaag aan heeft, is er één die zowel trendy en stoer als ietwat klassiek is. Trendy en stoer door de flared pants en de fluffy jas en ietwat klassiek door het shirtje met volant langs de hals en de kleurencombinatie. Is dit de tofste outfit voor kleine meiden? Of niet?

DE POPULAIRE STREEP!

Eén van de bekendste prints blijft de streep.. Dik, dun gekleurd of monochroom. Iedereen heeft wel een kledingstuk of accessoires in zijn kast met de populaire streep.

Prints zijn het nog altijd helemaal. Van dierlijke prints tot stippen en van ruiten tot de bloemenprint. Maar die fantastische kabouter dat is er eentje die we nog nooit hadden gezien. Maar hoe combineer je deze en hoe maak je het nou niet te druk? Strepen kunnen altijd met een andere all over print. Leuk maar niet te overdreven aanwezig. Kijk maar eens naar de outfit die Orminde vandaag draagt. De look van vandaag levert het bewijs want de kleuren gaan perfect samen met de kleuren van de streep. En als tof detail stijlen we de outfit af met beenwarmers. wat ons betreft echt een kei toffe look.

OUTFIT VOOR COOLE ROCKCHICKS

Vandaag hebben we een outfit voor coole rockchicks gestyled. Ik hou persoonlijk enorm van dit stijltje voor meiden: lekker stoer!

Het jurkje heeft een toffe print, een opvallend kleurtje en heeft een fijn retro gevoel. Dat is dus echt een keyitem in de kast van je dochter en heeft verder niet hele veel meer nodig om te shinen! Dat is dan ook de reden dat we verder weinig kleur hebben toegevoegd aan de outfit. De jurk heeft genoeg power voor de gehele outfit. Weinig kleur betekent overigens niet dat de rest van de outfit basic items bevat, want kijk eens even goed naar dat jack! Die is toch helemaal fantastisch? En die boots hebben een camouflage printje en supermooie details, waaronder rood stiksel en velvet veters.
