GUEST ON THE BLOG: HANNEKE AND HER ROOM

by

Instagram is one of our largest sources of inspiration. For us it is a platform where the most stylish spaces, rooms and homes are connected by a hashtag and where we can shamelessly admire our influencers.
HipandHanneke is one of these examples. We check her instafeed for her simply styled pics for pleasure. And that is why we're happy to announce her as a guest blogger today where she shares her home and some go-to places with us.

Hanneke lives in a very special house. It is the house where she grew up and that they bought from her parents last year. Although her childhood memories are sweet, she wanted to make the house her own home by renovating it completely which turned out to be a long, ongoing but fun process. Hannekes home can never have enough white. Natural and unpolished materials like concrete, wood, glass and steel give it the industrial feel that she loves. Hay is always welcome in her home, as are the Polaroid pictures from Via Martine. But it doesn't only look good at her place, it smells good also due to the Diptique perfume and candles which she buys at Skins in Amsterdam.

Hanneke has a great talent for styling and a good taste for kids names. For Jack (1) and Sam (6) the shops Big&Belg and Orange Mayonaise are her favorites.

WELCOME TO THE CIRCUS

by

What an amazing styling project. The restyling of a playroom for 3 little girls. The client gave me literally a blank canvas with painting the walls and floor white. The only thing I needed to do is play with fun colors.
I wanted to create a space that was cool, funky and had lots of storage for all their toys. The theme became 'Welcome to the circus' because the girls love to dress up and perform. Pop of colors are created by the little stool and table of Pomme, the Ferm Living cushions and their dresses. The most fun of it all, I'm allowed to share where you can buy all this gorgeousness to create your own fun space.
Enjoy the pictures and be inspired!

IN JACK'S ROOM

by

Jack's room ended up as a complete mix of styles. Black and white, old and new, animals and super heroes. It's all there. Fact is, we couldn't make a choice and in the end we love the combination of all of it. Important is to keep the rest pretty clean and that's the reason why I love good storage. An old treasure chest or a soft and gorgeous storage bag,  even a cute back pack can help to store some small toys!
