THE DUTCH COUNTRYSIDE WITH EMILY KORNYA
While Amsterdam’s popularity is well-deserved, travelers who don’t venture outside the city are missing out on some of Europe’s most charming countryside. And in a country as tiny as the Netherlands, day-tripping is easy to do. Within a half-hour of leaving Amsterdam’s main train station, you can be deep in the Dutch countryside — awash with tulips, red-brick houses, quaint waterways, and black-and-white cows.
Emily, who currently lives in Berlin, decided to take the train to Holland when she found out I was going to be there as well. At first I thought ‘Oh great, she booked a ticket to Amsterdam!’ but then I found out she booked a ticket to Enschede of all places. A little bit longer than a half-hour, but totally worth the trip!
Enschede is the largest city in the Twente region and is located in the Overijssel province of the Netherlands. This green city is surrounded by nature and is an excellent place for cycling, walkin, horseback riding and playdates. In 2003 Enschede was even named the greenest city in Holland!

Vergeet saaie schoenenwinkels waar je met je dreumes of tiener op zoek moet naar hippe schoenen. Waar je eerst nog echt je best moest doen voor leuke schoenen, -ik ging altijd naar België-, zo makkelijk shop je nu de hipste exemplaren online. En als jij op zoek bent naar kekke schoentjes voor jouw kinderen, dan heb ik nu een super adresje voor je. Bij Orange Mayonnaise ben ik een aantal hippe stappers tegen gekomen waarop jouw kids dit najaar fijn kunnen kruipen, lopen en rennen. Eigenlijk was kiezen bijna onmogelijk, maar als het echt moet, dan zou ik deze 12 in mijn mandje doen. Bekijk mijn 12 toppers die ik bij Orange Mayonnaise shopte.

And so Blossomkind (say Hi to Miss Marcela on Instagram) nailed it again! As we wrote already about the Swedisch SS16 collection Koolabah on Blender, Marcela had already an eye on that dress.
