De nieuwe zomercollectie van Caroline Bosmans is er één waar veel hippe moeders op zitten te wachten. Afgelopen seizoen waren de sjaals en kleding met de bunny’s niet aan te slepen.
Deze keer heeft Caroline Bosmans zich laten inspireren door emoticons en heeft de collectie dan ook, heel toepasselijk, EMOtICON genoemd.
De monochrome items zijn in deze collectie weer volop aanwezig, maar deze keer speelt lichtgeel ook een grote rol. Alles natuurlijk voorzien van te gekke gestileerde ‘smilies’, emoticons en lippen.
Persoonlijk vind ik deze collectie nog mooier dan de vorige met de bunny’s en aangezien die collectie een daverend succes was, verwacht ik dat deze nieuwe collectie ook als zoete broodjes over de toonbank zal gaan.
We moeten nog heel even wachten voordat het in de shops ligt, maar dan hebben we nog net even wat extra tijd om te bepalen welke van de supertoffe items we willen gaan kopen.

We might still be wrapped up in cozy sweaters, scarves, and everything that keeps us warm for so many months now that it’s kind of hard to imagine wearing anything else. That is, until now! One of the most wanted brands in the children’s industry, Bobo Choses will release it’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection in a couple of days and it already has us dreaming of sunny days spent outdoors wearing tank tops, shorts, sundresses and sandals.
When it comes to bright, whimsical must have clothing for little ones, Bobo Choses is definitely king. The Bobo Choses SS15 collection is nothing short of marvelous. Using a mix of fabrics from denim to fleece, and terry to jersey knits, the line’s signature bold colours, with even bolder hand-drawn prints, are better than ever.
The new collection is titled, “Look Who’s Coming To Breakfast,” which couldn’t be more appropriate, since it introduces lovable, shy monsters such as Mr. Nail, The Omelettes, Bob The Monster, and Clever The Ghost, making monsters not-so-scary and all kinds of fun.
Now, to decide which pieces to mix and match…

Hard to miss a little report on the upcoming collection from lovely Bobo Choses - A Day in L.A. Having spent time in L.A. it felt a bit extra special to hear its a collection dedicated to the magic of the city of angels, sprinkled with a bit of Hollywood on top.

De afgelopen twee weken stonden bij ons in het teken van nieuwe kindermode collecties voor winter 2014/2015 bekijken.
Afgelopen weekend waren we te vinden in Parijs, waar we de internationale kindermode beurs Playtime Paris hebben bezocht. Drie jaar geleden kwam ik er voor het eerst, de toen nog vrij kleine beurs is inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een beurs waar bijna alle merken hun collecties showen die ik maar al te graag wil zien. Playtime Paris is wat mij betreft nummer één kindermode beurs.
De trends liggen er letterlijk voor het oprapen en de (vaak kleine) merken sluiten naadloos aan bij JustbyManon. Met de grootste SMILE en een hoofd vol inspiratie hebben wij Parijs achter ons gelaten en proberen wij jullie in twee trend delen over te brengen wat wij hebben gespot voor winter 2014/2015.

Kleuren
Opvallend is dat de meest toonaangevende merken die in Parijs hun collecties toonden voor winter 2014 geen fluor meer lieten zien. De fluor trend lijkt, wat betreft de trendsetters, dus echt passé te zijn.
Daarentegen zagen we veel warme tinten voorbij komen. Van geel, wijnrood en blauw tot allerlei verschillende groentinten. Van mintgroen tot warm, donkergroen en alles wat daar tussenin zat. Ook de kleur fuchsia liet zich veelvuldig zien als opvallende contrastkleur.
En het mooiste is dat al deze kleuren, naar eigen smaak, prachtig met elkaar gecombineerd kunnen worden. Als je houdt van opvallende combinaties dan ga je voor geel met fuchsiaroze of met een van de prachtige groentinten. Als je liever wat minder heftige combinaties maakt dan maken wijnrood, donkerblauw en donkergroen een prachtige combinatie.
Relaxed fashion
Het is duidelijk dat de kleding voor winter 2014 vooral heel erg comfortabel moet zijn. Een trend waar kids erg blij mee zullen zijn, is de relaxed fashion oftewel fijne items van joggingstof al dan niet met doorgestikte details of met een gestepte wattine print. Zo’n ingestikte print die een beetje op de stof lijkt te liggen. Ook de broeken moeten soepel vallen en dus lekker zitten.
Leather
Leren of skai items zijn al bijna niet meer weg te denken uit het volwassen mode-beeld. Deze trend zal winter 2014 ook echt doorbreken in de kindermode.
Jasjes en broeken in leather-look, maar ook leer gecombineerd met andere stoffen. JustByManon favoriet is de combinatie van leer met sweatstof, echt een heerlijk vernieuwende combinatie.
Neopreen, ook één van die stoffen die nog niet eerder veel gebruikt werd in kinderkleding, maakt in winter 2014 zijn opwachting.
Breisels
Breisels zie je eigenlijk elke winter wel terug komen, maar opvallend aan de breisels van 2014 is dat ze grof gebreid zijn en ontzettend lekker zacht aanvoelen. Echt van die items waar je continu aan wilt voelen.
Ook hoofden zullen warm blijven met fijne mutsen. Onder het mom van ‘the bigger the better’ waren de pompons op de mutsen groot, groter, grootst.
Grey denim
Denim blijft natuurlijk ook hot in winter 2014, want wie heeft er nou geen denim item in de kast hangen? Maar onze duidelijke favorieten waren de zwarte en antracietgrijze denims. Lekker sjiek te combineren met een bloesje met een Peter Pan kraagje, heel stoer met een item van joggingstof erbij of überhip met een bomberjack of een vestje in een lekkere fuzzy fabric.
