It was a happy mail day today, and our first purchases of the newly released Bobo Choses collection A Day in LA arrived. There is something so wonderfully vintage with all these garments that it is instant love. It is like they have already been worn and loved to the point where it is soft and just perfect to wear.

Both the kids and myself love the prints and there is never any arguments on who gets what because the unisex approach of the prints and colours makes it easy to pass down to the little brother, so we get a lot of wear out of our BC clothes. Here are the links to a couple of our favourites.

Over Bobo Choses raken we niet uitgepraat., dus kom maar op met nog een blogpost. Afgelopen maandag is de 1e drop van de wintercollectie uitgeleverd.  De verbazingwekkende nieuwe herfst en wintercollectie 2014/2015 is geïnspireerd op de stad L.A en de jaren 50. De glamour van de filmsterren op Château Marnant, een wandeling door Sunset  Boulevard en de zwanen op Echo Park Lake. Een rock n roll stijl gecombineerd met een vintage look: Come and join "A Day in L.A." De samenstelling van de collectie is goed en onderling mooi te combineren. We selecteerden vandaag onze favoriete items voor baby's (1 t/m4)

De Kurkuma Leopard AOS print is de eyecatcher van de eerste drop. En met stip ons favorietje. Waar je hem ook terug vindt..op jumpsuit, broek, rok, rugzak. Wij vinden het stylisch, gaaf en uberhip.

Bobo Choses latest collection 'A Day in LA' has finally landed in stores and as usual the Bobo craze has hit again. The packing of orders are going wild in the virtual stores and the soft threads with Californian inspired prints are selling like hotcakes in the sun. I have to admit this collection has fallen right on my taste buds. The last few collections has had to grow on me but this one have been an instant love affair since I have adored the classic winds of Disney mixed with Hollywood history and a bit of Basquiat as well!

BOBO CHOSES WINTER 2014 A day in L.A.

Oh, wat ben ik enthousiast over de post van vandaag! Ik hou van Bobo Choses en was al enthousiast over de vorige collecties. Vandaag wordt de wintercollectie 2014 vrijgegeven en ligt het dus gewoon in de shops en/of staat het online! En wij kunnen niet wachten om het te zien en te shoppen. Want reken maar dat er Bobo Choses in de garderobe komt. Een broek met overallprint? Die muts met pom, geheel in de stijl van dit Spaanse merk? Een shirt? Wie zal het zeggen..het wordt nog moeilijk kiezen, gewoon omdat het zo goed is.

Ook voor de meiden is er veel gaafs. De Leopard bontjas...ok, je valt er wel mee op, maar wat is het een eyecandy. De harige jassen. Maar ook de jurk met L.A. print. We vinden het prachtig.  Ben jij al klaar voor een funky rode lak(neplederen)broek

Met het nieuwe schooljaar voor de deur, wat zijn de rugzakjes weer leuk. En heb je nog een kleintje? De rompertjes en bodysuits zijn weer onweerstaanbaar.

Bobo Choses is opgericht in 2008 door de Catalaanse kunstgeschiedenis regisseurs Adriana Esperalba en Laia Aguilar. Ze maken veel gebruik van Biologisch katoen en hun comfortabele kleding en zorgvuldig geselecteerde kleuren gaan hand in hand met speelse, poëtische en fantasierijke prints. Elke collectie is een fantastische wereld op zijn eigen manier, met zijn enkelvoudig geïllustreerde karakters en zijn eigen verhaal. Hierdoor zijn de collecties leuk, uniek en zinvol.

In the morning at Echo Park, vain palm trees look

at themselves in the mirroring waters,

while swans praise them for their hairstyles.

What I saw is what I say, it’s just a day in L.A.

At night, over the skies of Venice Beach,

stars that weren't featured in the movies show off

their best splendor hoping to pass the casting.

Brand Watch | A Day in L.A. by Bobo Choses

Hard to miss a little report on the upcoming collection from lovely Bobo Choses - A Day in L.A. Having spent time in L.A. it felt a bit extra special to hear its a collection dedicated to the magic of the city of angels, sprinkled with a bit of Hollywood on top.

A Day in L.A. - BOBO CHOSES - AW 14/15 Collection

A Day in L.A.

In the morning at Echo Park,
vain palm trees look at themselves
in the mirroring waters, while swans
praise them for their hairstyles.

At noon on Sunset Boulevard,
cartoons take a break from the screens
and birds that go for a walk
take off their hats to greet each other.

What I saw is what I say
it’s just a day in L.A.

In the evening, at the movie theatre,
a giant peanut shushes a couple of fur coats
that won’t let him listen to the film’s dialogues
because they don´t stop chatting.

At night, over the skies of Venice Beach,
stars that weren’t featured in the movies
show off their best splendour
hoping to pass the casting.

What I saw is what I say
it’s just a day in L.A.
