Portraits of your littles are always a great way to customize holiday cards. While you plan this year’s photoshoot, consider styling them with gold accents. I consider gold (any metallic, really) a neutral and love it paired with rich tones as much as I love it paired with blush and light hues.

Er staat zo’n rekje bij mij op kantoor dat smeekt om gefotografeerd te worden…. Het is een waanzinnig collectie die ontstaan is uit de samenwerking tussen onze all time favorite Nununu en het ballet stijl achtige merk Tutu du Monde.

ALS TEGENPOLEN ELKAAR TEGENKOMEN KUNNEN ER HELE MOOIE DINGEN ONTSTAAN.

Voor nu heb ik de items gefotografeerd op detail, maar binnenkort ga ik samen met Guus en Fem op locatie foto’s maken. Wij kunnen niet wachten. Jij ook niet? Dan heb ik goed nieuws voor je want deze toffe collectie is vanaf nu al te shoppen.

Rubble Kings is an editorial by Ahmed Bahhodh first published on Les Enfants à Paris 

and is inspired by Rubble Kings documentary film 2015.

From 1968 to 1975, gangs ruled New York City. Beyond the idealistic hopes of the civil rights movement lay an unfocused rage. Neither law enforcement nor social agency could end the escalating bloodshed. Peace came only through the most unlikely and courageous of events that would change the world for generations to come by giving birth to hip-hop culture.


Rubble Kings chronicles life during this era of gang rule, tells the story of how a few extraordinary, forgotten people did the impossible, and how their actions impacted New York City and the world over.

About the photo-shoot:

A popular tourist destination due to its sheer beauty Amersfoort as a city has been greatly preserved since the middle ages and with a fantastic range of historical buildings, the City centre is one of the most picturesque in the Netherlands.


It’s also a great location for photo-shoots, and Ahmed didn’t have to think twice when I asked him to come to Holland. It was a great day and i think this shines through in Ahmed’s wonderful work.

GARDEROBE KLASSIEKERS VOOR JONGENS!

Het jeansjack en de trackpant zijn inmiddels uitgegroeid tot ware garderobe klassiekers voor jongens . Oftewel: deze horen thuis in elke jongensgarderobe. Maar hoe stijl jij die outfit dan het liefst af dit herfstseizoen.

Wij hebben met deze twee items een hele stoere jongensoutfit gestyled waar jongens in het najaar en de winter hip mee voor de dag komen.  Het jasje kan als herfstjas op dit moment goed dienst doen, maar straks als het winter is kiest je zoon er wellicht zelfs voor om hem ook als binnenjas te combineren. Op die manier hoeft hij niet aan de kapstok te blijven hangen. Combineren met een basic wit statement T-shirt en een zwart overhemd is niet heel spannend, maar toch is deze outfit voor ons helemaal de bom. Zie jij je zoon de kou al trotseren in deze outfit?
