SS20 - A PLACE UNDER THE SUN

Soft Gallery’s SS20 collection, A Place Under

The Sun, celebrates the harmony between

children and nature. It’s about going back to

our roots, appreciating the grounds, the local

flora and fauna that sustain us.

A Place Under The Sun is a meadow where we

feel the softness of the warm breeze embracing

us and the changing textures under bare

feet. It’s grandmother’s secret healing herb

recipes passed on from generation to generation.

It’s the backyard plum tree that blossoms

in spring and feeds us in late-summer.

It’s a valley full of blossoming wildflowers

where the days are longer and filled with care

free laughter. The countryside colour rich

landscapes, the animal herds and free range

roosters. It’s fishing in the morning.

The garden where we seed, harvest and

observe how plants grow. The homemade

pickles. It’s a place where we praise Mother

Nature. Where we live slowly, purely and

consciously.

“I almost forgot what it’s like to pick a plum from a tree”

SOFT GALLERY - SS19 - TIME MACHINE

Soft Gallery was founded by Barbara Hvidt and Tine Holt Møller in 2007 in Copenhagen with the aim to bring the art to the eye level of kids and pass on wonderful and inspiring stories. Every Soft Gallery item is a soft canvas brought to life by artists from all over the world through carefully and lovingly crafted prints and hand embroideries that open eyes, minds and hearts to new ideas. The collection is a nostalgic throwback to the past, a poetic observer of the present and a confident visionary of the future. The brand’s creative duo, Barbara and Tine, took notes from their childhood, breathed in the today’s trends and took the pulse of the next generation though their own children. The result, a collection that brings back profound symbols from the art, film and music scene of the 60s to the 90s, and carries metaphors of the today and tomorrow.
