MAED FOR MINI, SS20

Life is a party once you realise it is. When we believe we have to wait for a reason to celebrate, we waste precious opportunities to enjoy life right now. Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. Think of how we might treat one another if we all felt good about who we are. Together we can make this world a better place.
Maed for Mini are based out of Amsterdam and was founded by two parents who wanted to offer a different range of stylish, organic fabric focused clothing made with sustainable processes and putting social responsibility as a manufacturer first. Inspiration for their designs come from daily family life with their own unique brand of humour, shared fascinations and continuing their desire to support local companies and invest in their employees for the future.
Les enfants a Paris presents you Maed for Mini SS20 Carnival Royale. Have a look and let us know what you think.
The Maed for Mini SS20 collection is available at Orange Mayonnaise.

I DIG DENIM - AW19

by

Take a stroll through the forest on a crisp autumn day…

Leaves are painted in the most colourful tones of orange, yellow, green, rust and Bordeaux red. Close your eyes and take a deep breath and you can almost imagine the feeling of wearing heavy knits, wool jackets and layers on layers.

Feeling warm, safe and healthy.

With their love for mother earth, sustainability is close to heart and therefore the main part of I Dig Denim’s AW19 collection is produced in eco / organic cotton and with Oeko tex certification. Where they can help, they wish to help, so that we can all go back to the forest year after year, look up and see the magic happen all over again.

Check out the I Dig Denim AW19 collection here at Orange Mayonnaise.

I dig denim is a Gothenburg based denim brand for kids between 2-15 years. Their belief is that what you wear reflects your personality and they think it’s important that you feel comfortable in your clothes. Therefore, they have carefully considered every detail and their collections for kids are characterised by good quality, perfect fit, and unique washes. The inspiration comes from the wild elements of the Swedish west coast – the sea, rocks and open skies – which are ever present and reflected in the colour schemes and fadings of the fabric. The collections are based on denim and completed with pieces in soft fabrics and shapes. Each I dig denim piece is characterized by a strong sense of style, with a clearly relaxed and carefree expression.I dig denim stands for a natural yet cool look.

TINY IMPERFECTIONS

Written by Les Enfants a Paris
As parents, we must remember that our children see the public images around them and compare themselves to a beauty ideal that rarely ever matches up with who they see in the mirror. Since the media is only beginning to realise our need for positive visual representations of all bodies, we have a long way to go in terms of helping our children love themselves completely.
But with people like Jessica Vereecken, I’m beginning to feel so much hope for our future.
Real beauty has no shape, weight, or colour — this is gradually becoming the motto of the modern fashion world. On the catwalk and in fashion magazines, we can see more and more people with unusual appearances who are pushing the limits and trying to change our perception of beautiful models.
For this shoot Jessica combined Kids Fashion from Belgium with 5 models with a tiny imperfection. Roseline, a girl with a leg protheses. Kaat, a girl with chromosomal abnormality. Emiel, a boy with achondroplasia. Gus a boy with cerebral palsy and her own son Cas, een handsome, white-haired , yellow looking eyed elf with a hearing-aid and a cochlear implant.
Get inspired.
