MilK: The summer collection 2015 April Showers?
Madelon and Natalie: Summer 2015 will be water! We worked a whole range of aqua green, celadon, emerald, declined onsparkling materials, which recall the tail of fish or mermaids! Theraw fabrics like straw and flax are juxtaposed with iridescent lamé silks and knits: moist and smooth face aridity. The prints show an aesthetic linked to the sea: tie & dye, ripples, drops of seawater ... White is important in the collection: a summer white, fresh and gay! All jewelry are following this inspiration, as well as accessories (almond green clogs, lurex socks ...).


MilK: Your current obsession?
Madelon and Natalie: Actually everything you dream for now, is ashed at the edge of the water! This year we have been much obsessed with our new offices. Today, we just want to realize our dreams. It's a long way, we go quietly but surely!


MilK: Your music of the moment?
Madelon and Natalie: For each collection we have a playlist that's looping. Right now, we love Mountain Man !


MilK: An address in Paris?
Madelon and Natalie: Super-Nature, a small organic restaurant in our new neighborhood, street Treviso (Paris 9).

Caroline Bosmans. Toen ik voor het eerst ’kennismaakte’ met het merk was ik eigenlijk meteen verliefd. Maar ik zal er maar meteen bij zeggen.. ik was minder verliefd op de prijs. Twee seizoenen heb ik me in kunnen houden maar dit seizoen moest en zou ik iets kopen. Lang.. heel lang heb ik getwijfeld wat het zou worden. De zwarte trui met ’mondjes’ was mijn eerste keuze.. maar zwart.. een zwarte trui.. in de lente en zomer.. Ik twijfelde te veel. Eigenlijk vind ik alles heel erg mooi van de Emoticons collectie. Grafisch, een beetje gek en apart. Pepper heb ik uiteindelijk de keuze laten maken. En eigenlijk was wat ze koos geen verrassing.

Caroline Bosmans, een Belgische moeder van 4, is in 2013 gestart met het ontwerpen van kinderkleding. Grafische elementen, gecombineerd met een dosis humor komt ze ieder seizoen weer met de meest mooie creaties. Alle kleding is niet aan een seizoen gebonden, unisex en van een prachtige kwaliteit. Veel in zwart, versterkt door roze en pastel tinten.

Pepper heeft dus gekozen voor het Zest Print rokje. Een kort rokje met een all over icons print in een mooie dikke stof. Ik had er hoge verwachtingen van en alles ervan is uitgekomen. Wat een pracht rokje is het. Om de outfit compleet te maken heb ik er de badge ‘LIPS’ bij gekocht. Deze op een simpel wit shirtje gestreken en we hebben er een mooi setje bij.

En nu hopen dat we snel zo de deur uit kunnen!

LANEYA IN BOBO CHOSES SS15

The Bobo Choses SS15 collection “Guess Whos Coming for Breakfast” is such a funny, colourful and straight- forward collection that recalls the world of monster tales. Prints introduce strong and distinct characters that go together with vivid colours. Jersey, rib, terry and fleece along with denim and sarja come in simple and comfortable shapes.

Seriously, I am not aware of any designer that has so many styles and sizes sell out within minutes of it’s launch, but the items featured today were still available the last time we checked.

Nununu winter 2015

Het minimalistische kinderkleding merk Nununu brengt ieder seizoen een collectie waarbij persoonlijkheid en comfort een belangrijke rol spelen. Met de simpele lijnen, maar perfecte pasvorm én kleuren weet Nununu altijd de juiste snaar bij mij te raken.

Trendy musthaves winter 2015

De collecties van NUNUNU gaan ons dit najaar weer verrassen met een bijzondere look: oversized cirkels als motief voor wijdvallende jurken voor meisjes. Een ninja sweater om neus en oren op een coole manier warm te houden, mijn zoons gaan die té gek vinden! En een nieuwe versie van de traditionele aviator overall, daar ben ik zelf echt laaiend enthosuiast over. En helemaal in die prachtige groene kleur.

De nieuwe Nununu winter collectie is in augustus weer volop te verkrijgen bij OrangeMayonnaise. Wees maar niet bang dat je hem mist, wij  houden je zeker op de hoogte.

VOOR ALLE SUPERHERO'S

MINIWILLA KOMT MET NIEUWS

Dat de Posters van Mini Willa een regelrechte hit zijn hoeven we niet meer te vertellen. Ook wij hebben een superhero is huis. De prints van dit Zweedse Label zijn grappig, grafisch en blinken uit in eenvoud. Bovendien passen ze perfect in de Monochrome trend.

Ze geven de baby/kinderkamer meteen een goede sfeer. En fijne bijkomstigheid is dat ze in een Ikea lijst passen. Maar waarom heeft Ikea DE lijst uit de handel genomen? Help! Mocht iemand tips hebben waar we een goede lijst – met een dunne rand – kunnen shoppen. Laat me weten!

Het was dus wachten op iets nieuws. Want Miniwilla heeft niet stilgezeten. Na de posters vond je de prints al terug op kussens, plaids en dienblad. Vanaf vandaag kunnen de kindjes ook rondlopen in een Mini Willa. Heb jij een superhero in huis, die zo’n singlet wel zou passen?

Een super kleine collectie, maar wel meteen super leuk. Het singletje met de bekende Hello print zie ik wel als de knaller. Heerlijk voor de zomer. Maar ook leuk te stylen onder een spijkerbloesje of gebreid vestje.
