Vandaag even geen Guus in de hoofdrol op JustbyManon. Mijn oudste zoon Thom (10) wilde zijn stijl ook wel weer eens met jullie delen. Hij vond zelfs dat het de hoogste tijd was, want hij had al meer dan zes weken geen nieuwe kleding gekregen. Ai, zes weken een zelfde fantastische garderobe, dat klinkt als een mega drama.

Een leuke en gezellige shoot kon dus ook niet uitblijven, echter bij het zien van de foto’s kan ik wel huilen. Wat lijkt hij plotseling groot…..waar is mijn kleine jongetje gebleven?

Thom draagt een antraciet kleurige bomberjas, en fijne grijze soepele sweatpant met mooie smalle pijp. De all over skateboard geïnspireerde sweater is een boys ‘want’ item . De witte Nike air force 1 sneakers en de pet van Beau Loves stylen de outfit helemaal af.

Dit is Thom zijn stijl, is dit ook de stijl die jouw zoon zou dragen?

The SS16 collection meets the ultimate ambition and dream of the brand – to put fashion and art together in an inspiring clothing gallery – “it is a magical summer parade where intriguing characters march to the beat of their own drums on a warm promenade. Dressed in uniforms, performing their acts. Singing, dancing, skating, playing tennis. Celebrating summer. Celebrating magic” says Barabara. 

Divided in three themes, The Magic Parade features the Circus Parade with prints, embroideries and splashes of paint, the Beach and Surf Parade, with swimwear and T-shirts for cool summer dudes and crisp chinos and shirts for a more preppy look, and finally, the Animal Parade, a sanctuary to a multitude of different animals and birds: flamingos, bubblegum horses, glittering butterflies, a clownish cheetah, an adorned giraffe, a sunny wolf and a winning bear.

7 artists, 7 denim jackets is a new limited collection among the SS16 highlights – a project where 7 artists are commissioned to create 7 unique denim canvases. “Paint, stitches, embroideries. All handmade from the heart – exclusive, distinct and beautiful”.

BEAU LOVES SS16

Holiday … Travel… Voyage… A school project turned into Beau drawing a map of all the places he’d love to visit. Amsterdam to pick a tulip, Africa to count a leopard’s spots, Florida to shake Mickey Mouse’s hand, Antarctica to find a masked polar bear and France to shout ‘Bonjour Sunshine’!  

Full of light sun-drenched colours and neons, this season includes a modern leopard print, block printed tulips, masked bears and mini masks. We love the whimsical colours, which are a contrast to their signature black look and are complimented by some new illustrations by founder & designer, Faye Wilde. We’re wondering, is this their best collection yet? It’s certainly their biggest to date!
