DE POPULAIRE STREEP!

Eén van de bekendste prints blijft de streep.. Dik, dun gekleurd of monochroom. Iedereen heeft wel een kledingstuk of accessoires in zijn kast met de populaire streep.

Prints zijn het nog altijd helemaal. Van dierlijke prints tot stippen en van ruiten tot de bloemenprint. Maar die fantastische kabouter dat is er eentje die we nog nooit hadden gezien. Maar hoe combineer je deze en hoe maak je het nou niet te druk? Strepen kunnen altijd met een andere all over print. Leuk maar niet te overdreven aanwezig. Kijk maar eens naar de outfit die Orminde vandaag draagt. De look van vandaag levert het bewijs want de kleuren gaan perfect samen met de kleuren van de streep. En als tof detail stijlen we de outfit af met beenwarmers. wat ons betreft echt een kei toffe look.

OUTFIT VOOR COOLE ROCKCHICKS

Vandaag hebben we een outfit voor coole rockchicks gestyled. Ik hou persoonlijk enorm van dit stijltje voor meiden: lekker stoer!

Het jurkje heeft een toffe print, een opvallend kleurtje en heeft een fijn retro gevoel. Dat is dus echt een keyitem in de kast van je dochter en heeft verder niet hele veel meer nodig om te shinen! Dat is dan ook de reden dat we verder weinig kleur hebben toegevoegd aan de outfit. De jurk heeft genoeg power voor de gehele outfit. Weinig kleur betekent overigens niet dat de rest van de outfit basic items bevat, want kijk eens even goed naar dat jack! Die is toch helemaal fantastisch? En die boots hebben een camouflage printje en supermooie details, waaronder rood stiksel en velvet veters.

EEN VLEUGJE KLEUR VOOR TIENER MEIDEN

Vandaag hebben we een vleugje kleur voor tiener meiden, maar niet teveel want dat is natuurlijk veel te kinderachtig. Althans dat is wat ik de laatste tijd steeds vaker hoor. Helaas voor mij, want ik hou wel van gekke kleurencombinaties. Sinds een tijdje wordt dat toch echt niet meer gewaardeerd bij ons in huis.

All over prints zijn trouwens ook steeds vaker uit den boze. Ook zoiets waar ik toch echt wel heel erg van baal. Maar ja, een tiener in huis betekent dus ook een nieuw soort garderobe. De outfit van vandaag is gelukkig nog wel goedgekeurd en wordt zelfs cool genoemd. Yes, net een vleugje kleur en een klein beetje all over print is dus nog wel een optie.

Het zal ongetwijfeld de leeftijd zijn en meerdere van jullie met meiden van een jaar of 10 zullen dit verhaal meteen herkennen. Bij jongens schijnt die fase van geen kleur en all over prints al een paar jaar eerder te komen, heb ik mij laten vertellen door een jongensexpert (oftewel Manon).

COLLABORATION SHOOT : RAFA KIDS

It seems that September is the most exciting month of the year for people associated with the fashion industry. The unique issues of magazines popping up, the launches of new collections are spreading around social media so that we can all see the trends for the coming Autumn/Winter season. Even though we are not that fashion orientated at Rafa-kids it is difficult not to notice the change in the air and a desperate need to get ready for it! I looked through a wardrobe of two of my boys and made a list what we would need for the coming season. Suddenly all the pants seems too short and we desperately need to add some colours to keep the Summer with us a bit longer! 

We went for yellow, pink and red! 

One of my very favourite and cool stores to shop for kids’ garments is Orange Mayonnaise. My seven years old son Robert loves to play with clothes and accessories. There is no such a thing for him as girl-boy items (except of course dresses and skirts).  Dungarees are one of his must haves in wardrobe and it cannot miss scarves, vests and of course glasses! Autumn is a perfect season to play with all the layers and textures and experiment a bit ! Have some fun too!

ZO STIJL JE DE GROENE BLOUSE BIJ JONGENS!

Er zijn nu eenmaal items die in de kledingkast van je zoon thuishoren. Zo ook het donkergroene overhemd. Dit item is zo veelzijdig je kan er écht alle kanten mee uit. Denk bij donkergroen nu niet direct aan een boswachters outfit.

HOE WIJ HET DONKERGROENE OVERHEMD STYLEN KUN JE IN DE LOOK VAN VANDAAG BEKIJKEN.

Het fijne aan het donkergroene overhemd is dat je hem zoals in de outfit van vandaag kan combineren met een hoodie als tussen jasje op een droge herfstdag. Is het een zonnige dag? Dan volstaat zelfs een T-shirt onder het groene overhemd, of in de winter draag je deze combinatie met een winterjas erover.

Ik kies bij een overhemd die we ook als jasje dragen vaak voor één maat grotere. Mouwen oprollen en iets oversized geeft dan net die nonchalante look waar ik zo van hou. Een vintage jeans samen met de groene blouse zijn een mooie basis voor een wintergarderobe van je zoon. Door een sweater- t-shirt of hoodie in favoriete kleur of met gewenste print onder de blouse te dragen is de outfit helemaal af.

Het enige wat nog ontbreekt aan de look is dan een coole blik!
