The SS20 Stella McCartney Kids campaign ‘Tree Huggers’ stars strong-hearted kids 

as environmental activists, who care about the future of our planet. 

This ethos derives from the Spring Summer 2020 collection itself,

which is all about encouraging positive change. 

Inspired by a children’s poem, the young activists show us how and why we should take care of the forest and the life within it. 

They demonstrate how to enjoy the small things around us and speak up to others about protecting the amazing green world. 

They are our future and take the lead in communicating 

about protection and respect for our environment.

The trees and their leaves, 

Thank you for all that you do, 

You keep us safe and the birds and bugs and animals too 

We must keep our world green 

Because you keep our air clean. 

We must hug the trees and show them love 

We are friends of the amazing forest-The green world above 

We have to tell others what we know 

And to the trees kindness we show 

We must listen to the wild -I can make a difference even as a child 

Everyone gather round and shout about the woods 

They keep the sky blue!

The rainbow in all its beautiful variation is a recurring motif throughout the wardrobes for girls, boys and baby representing peace and diversity, 
linking back to the core message of the collection.

more than 75% of the collection is made from sustainable materials

including organic cotton, sustainably sourced viscose

WHAT YOU BUY MATTERS. Only 1 % of the cotton grown in the world is organic. The story behind conventional cotton is not as fluffy and soft as one could wish. The use of pesticides and unfair working conditions are reasons why we all should think twice when buying conventionally produced cotton. Organic cotton does not allow the use of toxic chemicals or GMOs - genetically modified organisms. Instead, it combines tradition, innovation and science to benefit the shared environment and promote a good quality of life for all involved. But what you should be aware of is that when you buy a product labelled as organic cotton the rest of the production chain - such as dyeing, printing, coatings etc. might still be conventional. When we’re choosing clothing for our kids, we tend to pick the softest materials, the cutest prints and most comfortable designs, and we should! Our sons and daughters deserve only the best. But there are other things you should be looking for in your kids clothing.

Mói launched their S/S13 collection in August 2012.
