As a child I had many favourite things, such as art, creating stories, travel and well; cats. I am not sure why I loved then more the other animals, maybe because they purr or because in films they were portrayed as feminine, sweet, and also sassy (all things I think I related too) but I did. I was always very happy to wear a design with a cat on it.

Unfortunately back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s these designs were limited, and mostly tacky, but today cats seem to be in fashion and looking great in prints or as graphics, and go well with some fun and feminine skirts, and shoes.

Little Emily would have gone crazy to see a tee shirt with Marie from The Aristocats (my favourite Disney character) on it, like this one from Little Eleven. Marie (an unpopular/unknown character in my day) Disney character is now becoming a fashion statement, as you can find her in past collections of Monnalisa, and Silvian Heach too!

Personally I conclude cats and fashion are quite a good match.

THE GIRL IN BLACK

Wat vind jij eigenlijk van zwarte kleding voor meisjes? Ik heb het heel lang vermeden, want niet meisjesachtig….dacht ik. Langzamerhand sluipen er toch een aantal zwarte items in de kast van mini me.

Zwart geeft soms net een beetje pit aan een outfit maar door bepaalde (kleur)accenten in de kleding hoeft het niet altijd tè stoer te zijn.

Je ziet hier zeven zwarte items. Soms stoer, soms lief en soms chic. Met zwart kun je dus echt alle kanten op!

MUST HAVES FOR GIRLS FALL 2014

Bye bye nazomer, welkom herfst!

De zomerkleding mag nu echt op zolder, heb jij al zin om de garderobe van je kids helemaal winter klaar te maken? Om jullie al even lekker op gang te helpen hebben wij dé herfst 2014 musthaves voor meiden voor jullie op een rijtje gezet.

1. Fake fur jacket  Fake fur is zeker een key item deze winter. Je ziet het vooral veel in jassen en gilets.| 2.  Mantel met ronde hals en oversized fit super tof te dragen met een skinny broek en een paar basic adidas sneakers helemaal HOT.| 3.  Leather look pants, leather look zien we vooral veel als legging, maar wordt ook steeds vaker gespot in een baggy broekje.  | 4. Plooi rokje, de plooirokjes worden niet alleen klassiek gedragen, wat dacht je van een combinatie met stoere bikerboots? | 5. Poncho, niet het meest praktische kinderkleding item maar wel het meeste stylish. | 6. sneakers met dierenprint, ook in de winter moet je een paar sneakers toevoegen aan de garderobe van je dochter, het liefst met een animal print. | 7. dierenprint , prints zijn tof, kinderlijk en maken iedere outfit spannend.

Be prepared, de nieuwste trend waarbij broek en top van dezelfde print zijn is on her way. En los vallende tops mogen gedragen worden op relaxed fit broeken of wijde rokjes.

Bengh MustHave !

JBM Musthave // schattig jurkje met een twist

Toen ik deze jurk zag, was ik gelijk wildenthousiast. Het deed me in eerste instantie denken aan een sportief tennisjurkje. Totdat ik beter keek en zag dat het lijfje gemaakt was van prachtig kant. Een sublieme combinatie tussen schattig en sportief dus en het perfecte jurkje voor schattige meiden die toch ook wel sportief zijn.

AW14 Bengh per Principesse

En weer is het Bengh per Principesse die als een van de eerste FashionLabels met de AW14 collectie in de winkels ligt. Ja, girlsMOMS deze is speciaal voor jullie. Want jullie, en wij, hebben dit Label jaren geleden al in jullie hart gesloten. En wij begrijpen dat helemaal.

De vrolijke kleurcombinaties, de verschillende prints, de zwierige rokjes en fleurige jurkjes. Stoer gecombineerd met een felgekleurde maillot. Een vestje erbij, en je hebt de Beng per Principesse stijl te pakken.

Helemaal hip zijn de Fake-fur jasjes. Daar verschijnen ze uberhip mee op het schoolplein. Nog zo'n musthave voor de winter zijn de 3d-gewatteerde en doorgestikte jasjes.
