It is Sci-fi love on the highest level. The look on the boy when he saw this tee arriving the other day was priceless. Big gaping mouth and massive eyes for a whole minute until finally one word came out of his mouth.... ZAP! Yep, I hear ya... there is a whole lot of zap on that tee buddy.
Not a big gun fan in general but I can see how a kids brains kicks off when they see old classic ray guns. There is so much imagination put into them and they all scream out adventure in space! It's a major TEE crush for us. It also comes in a sweater version.
Instagram is one of our largest sources of inspiration. For us it is a platform where the most stylish spaces, rooms and homes are connected by a hashtag and where we can shamelessly admire our influencers. HipandHanneke is one of these examples. We check her instafeed for her simply styled pics for pleasure. And that is why we're happy to announce her as a guest blogger today where she shares her home and some go-to places with us.
Hanneke lives in a very special house. It is the house where she grew up and that they bought from her parents last year. Although her childhood memories are sweet, she wanted to make the house her own home by renovating it completely which turned out to be a long, ongoing but fun process. Hannekes home can never have enough white. Natural and unpolished materials like concrete, wood, glass and steel give it the industrial feel that she loves. Hay is always welcome in her home, as are the Polaroid pictures from Via Martine. But it doesn't only look good at her place, it smells good also due to the Diptique perfume and candles which she buys at Skins in Amsterdam.
Hanneke has a great talent for styling and a good taste for kids names. For Jack (1) and Sam (6) the shops Big&Belg and Orange Mayonaise are her favorites.

As a child I had many favourite things, such as art, creating stories, travel and well; cats. I am not sure why I loved then more the other animals, maybe because they purr or because in films they were portrayed as feminine, sweet, and also sassy (all things I think I related too) but I did. I was always very happy to wear a design with a cat on it.
Unfortunately back in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s these designs were limited, and mostly tacky, but today cats seem to be in fashion and looking great in prints or as graphics, and go well with some fun and feminine skirts, and shoes.
Little Emily would have gone crazy to see a tee shirt with Marie from The Aristocats (my favourite Disney character) on it, like this one from Little Eleven. Marie (an unpopular/unknown character in my day) Disney character is now becoming a fashion statement, as you can find her in past collections of Monnalisa, and Silvian Heach too!
Personally I conclude cats and fashion are quite a good match.

Here is what the creators behind the small offspring has to say about their new baby... "2011 marked the birth of Ruby Tuesday, a collection of iconic pieces that complement the wardrobe of every fashion conscious woman. Three years later, we are happily thriving and expanding the women’s line to include the younger generation. It started with our travels to Paris and Scandinavia when we brought loads of kids stuff like Stella McCartney circus jackets and beautiful basic items with a twist. Our home is filled with three girls of 0 till 9 years old, so the seed of our 'mini' collection was inevitably planted. The collection is a mix of jerseys, washed sweats and 100% linen T-shirts. On our way to Bright we decided to stop by one of the oldest wineries in Australia - Tahbilk winery.Established in 1860, Tahbilk is one of Australia's most beautiful and historic family owned wineries. Located in the Nagambie Lakes region of central Victoria (120kms north of Melbourne), one of the nation's premium viticultural areas. Tahbilk is now home to 5 generations of winemakers.
It was a perfect stop over since we had been in the car for an hour and the kids were eager to stretch their legs. On the grounds there is also a wonderful cafe/resturant that has a beautiful scenery of the Gouldburn River. Here you can sample some of the vast array of different wines produced here and dine on fine food. It is a perfect place to bring children since there is plenty of space and the menu offers food options for kids as well. After we had topped up on food and drinks we visited the old wine cellar. The kids were amazed with all the old things they saw and our daughter couldn't get enough of the amazing seemingly never-ending dark cellar. Here you saw rows after rows of old wine barrels stacked with labels like Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Marsanne and 'old block' Cabernet.
We explored the cellars for a while, purchased some bottles and joined their wine club before we set off on our road trip towards Bright.
